Anyone, any leader, any human being can shine and thrive and innovate and lead when everything’s working. What makes genuine greatness is how brightly do you shine? How positively do you radiate? How masterfully do you create? How strong and committed and productive are you when everything’s falling apart? That’s the true test of a genuine hero. And you’ve got that in you because heroism is not the reserve of the famous ones. Heroism is the opportunity and even the responsibility of every single one of us. I mean, no matter where you live, no matter what you do, no matter what you’re going through, you have it in you to display your greatness.And so I want you to think about that and I want you to reach deep within yourself if you’re going through a trying time today to not only see the benefits that adversity bring, but to actually leverage the difficulty for the noble values within you to become stronger and more empathetic and more creative and more inventive and more resilient and more brave, and maybe most importantly ,even more loving. I mean, what makes greatness is how you show up when everything is falling apart.
