A lot of times in this world of fires, we are forgetting. Let me put it this way. We’re forgetting that the doorway to success opens inward not outward. There are too many people in the world right now, they are measuring their success and defining their leadership and their greatness or their lives by how much money they make, by whether they’re famous, whether enough people like them. And yet, at the end of the day, we really know this deep within our hearts. It’s about being a great human being more than anything else. I’ve seen people who are not famous, I’ve seen a carpet installer who did a renovation of carpets at our office who had more integrity, more passion, more craft mastery, more leadership
capability than many of the CEOs or many of the people I’ve witnessed. So you want to be a great human. You want to be ethical. You want to be decent. The world around you is watching everything you’re doing, even though you might not think they’re watching you.
